Top Training Tips For Kids

Training Tip 1

Make sure they attend a minimum of 2 sessions per week (any more than 4 is not recommended unless they are in the sport tournament fighter program also)

Training Tip 2

Make sure they have a small snack after school and are hydrated (min 1 glass of water 20 mins before training) and they have a water bottle with them in all classes.

Training Tip 3

Make sure they take their sparring/safety gear with them at all times to training and that they always have the mouth guard as well.

Training Tip 4

Encourage (if not force) them to watch the current Level DVD for each term so they are familiar with what we teach in class. They can refer to this if having problems learning any skills.

Make sure you check our website and Facebook page to keep up with our events and information, make sure we have you current email and mobile number so we can keep you informed.

Training Tip 6

Attendance is the key. Regular consistent attendance means they will learn and stay motivated. Progress is certain if they attend regularly and try hard in class.

They will not be motivated and therefore will not improve if they are not attending.

It is your job as a parent to teach them to be hard working and disciplined and for Martial arts this means training min 2 x week no matter what (unless sick)
